The first office was located above the Ford garage in downtown Laurens. In 1964, Miles and his wife Bertha, with the help of their son, Jerry, drew up plans for the dental office located at 111 West Main Street. The colonial brick office was built in 1965. It was designed for two dentists and one hygienist. Over the years, Dr. Olson hosted many dentists to his practice. In 1978, his daughter, Dr. Linda Olson Bieri joined him permanently. They were granted many years of practice together, until Dr. Steven W. Christensen joined them in 1986. The three dentists continued to practice together until Dr. Olson’s death in 1994.

In 1998, Dr. Bieri and Dr. Christensen built on to the existing office in Laurens. They added two hygiene operatories and two private offices. Since that time, they have employed two full time hygienists and an auxiliary staff of ten. Many of these auxiliary staff members have been with the practice for more than 30 years.

In 2004, Dr. Bieri and Dr. Christensen added a satellite location in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The reason that occurred was to service the patients from that area who had been faithfully driving to Laurens for dental treatment. There are three employees at that location.

Their goal is to add another dentist within the next few years. They are striving to continue a long tradition of quality dentistry that was established in 1947. They hope to provide comprehensive dentistry into the next century.
